The Collaborative Research Center 1073 (SFB) sponsors a four-day Physics and Chemistry Camp for girls only, where female students conduct experiments at the XLAB among others on solar cells, lithium-ion accumulators and hydrogen, and then receive insights into research in this field from female scientists at the SFB. In addition, they will have the opportunity to discuss their future prospects in the field of physics and chemistry with female scientists and female physics students. Start-up funding for the first "Girls-Camp" was provided in 2019 by the University of Göttingen's Innovation Fund for Equality.
