XLAB International Science Camp 2025, August 2 to 24

Discover Research in our Summer School

If you are at least 17 years old and

... interested in natural sciences,
... want to work with up-to-date technology,
... want to learn in an excellent scientific environment,
... want to meet like-minded people from all over the world,

apply now, and discover research in Germany!

Every year in August we organize the International Science Camp (ISC) for participants from all over the world. You choose three week-long courses and combine them into an extraordinary experience of science. English is the working language. The approaches and results are compiled at the end of each course week and presented to fellow students in a lecture.

On weekends and in the evenings we arrange a cultural and social program. Socializing among students from different cultural backgrounds is as important as experimental work and scientific learning.

Courses

Understanding natural sciences is fundamental to modern life. In our summer school you will discover how physics, chemistry and biology contribute to a sustainable development. You will pick three week-long courses from a list of topics like Physics in Life Sciences, Laser Physics, Molecular Medicine, Neurobiology, Light and Matter, and Plastics: Production and Sustainability. Every day you will perform experiments in small groups of two or three students. Our science staff will supervise you, and help you gain hands-on experience, skills and good results.
