Courses for Student Groups – Face to Face
Numerous groups from European but also many Asian countries visit the XLABs laboratories frequently to get exciting insights into the world of natural sciences by hands-on experiences. Beside high school students, this offer is also open for all other groups of people interested in natural sciences. The courses are designed for students in the age of 16 - 22 years.
The Scientific program can be arranged individually and group-specific according to interests by combining experiments from Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The duration and time period can be chosen flexibly, starting from a 3 days set up to 10 days, 2 or 3 weeks depending on requirements. Normally the courses take place from Monday to Friday in the time from 9 am to 5 pm (pricing).
According to the interests, additionally a social program can be organized.
Location
The university city of Göttingen is located in the middle of Germany. In addition to the Georg-August-University, the Max-Planck-Institutes and many other non-university research institutes imprint the ‘city of knowledge’, which is also home to several Nobel Prize winners.
The XLAB is centrally located on the Göttingen North Campus, where the faculties of the natural sciences come together. The XLAB has excellent transport connections and is easily accessible from all directions in Germany. We will be happy to assist you in finding your way to the XLAB and in finding overnight accommodations!
