The group, accompanied by tutors from the Beijing-based educational agency ASDAN China, took courses in molecular biology, plant physiology, field ecology, wave physics and medicinal chemistry at XLAB from July 14 to 24. Microplastics and sustainable plastics are a particular focus.
ASDAN China was founded in 2011 and cooperates with leading international educational organizations and renowned universities around the world. Its goal is to give young Chinese people access to high-quality educational resources in subjects such as economics, mathematics, physics, chemistry, technology, computer science, biology, leadership, social studies and art.
