Final Symposium #ISC2023

At the end of the International Science Camp, at the symposium on Saturday, 26.08.2023, the participants presented their experiences and results to their peers.

Professor Inke Siewert, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and member of the research networks SFB 1073 and ICASEC, gave an exciting and instructive lecture on the sustainable chemical synthesis of indispensable substances, and invited the young audience to study Chemistry or Physics in Göttingen.

Dr. Uwe Muuß, Head of the International Office, promoted the particularly research-oriented Master's and PhD programs in Göttingen and the international exchange that the network of Enlight universities offers its students. Well into the lunch break, he was surrounded by interested students.

Four predecessors, alumni who had attended "their" International Science Camp at XLAB between 2005 and 2009 and made international careers in and with science, Professor Marina Radulaski, Tanmay Bharat, Velislava Petrova and Aleksandra Vancevska, very personally encouraged the participants to take further steps, study, network well and follow the passion for research.

Professor Thomas Waitz, scientific director of XLAB, guided through the program and handed out to all their well-deserved certificates at the end. In addition, the university awards participants with a digital badge for internationalization.
