The University of Göttingen ended the year 2023 on December 7 with an Academic Year Celebration in the auditorium on Wilhelmsplatz.
On this festive occasion, the founder and long-time director of the XLAB-Göttingen Experimental Laboratory for Young People, Professor Dr. Eva-Maria Neher, was awarded the University Medal "Aureus Gottingensis". She is being honored for her services to the promotion of young scientists, particularly with regard to equal opportunities.
