Students from Beijing

Young Chinese are training practical and theoretical principles for sustainability technologies and medicine at XLAB.

The group, accompanied by tutors from the Beijing-based education agency ASDAN China, will complete courses in molecular biology, neurophysiology, physics and organic chemistry at XLAB during their 10-day stay. Microplastics and sustainable plastics are a particular focus.

This is the first group of students from China since the Corona pandemic began.

ASDAN China was founded in 2011 and cooperates with leading international educational organizations and renowned universities around the world. The goal is to provide young Chinese students with access to quality educational resources in subjects such as economics, mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, computer science, biology, leadership, social studies and the arts. More than 96,000 students from over 800 Chinese schools have participated in the programs to date.
