An elementary component of the 3-week International Science Camp is the presentation of the scientific findings and experiences of the respective course weeks in half-hour lectures followed by a discussion.
Dr. Manuel Maidorn, press officer at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization, provided instruction on successful presentation techniques at the end of the first week of the course.
At the end of the second and third week of the course, individual participants from all nine experimental courses presented their results at two symposia. In addition to discussing the content, the lecturers also faced criticism from their trainers and lecturers, which was consistently positive. Full of enthusiasm and visibly committed, the findings from the courses were shared with all ISC participants. There was much applause! Finally, Prof. Thomas Waitz, Scientific Director of the XLAB, presented the well-deserved certificates for the successfully completed 21st International Science Camp 2024!
We would like to thank everyone involved for their great support, which contributed to the success of this annual highlight! We look forward to the continuation of the ISC in summer 2025!
