Reaction kinetics

In chemistry “reaction kinetics” means studying the rates of chemical processes. In this course students determine the reaction velocity depending on dispersion, concentration of starting materials, temperature and the influence of different catalysts. Photometry is used to measure the reaction velocity of the oxidation of iodide ions. In addition, the reaction order can be determined.

Recommended: students from grade 11 on
Duration: 1 – 1.5 days (Depending on the number of experiments)
